GENERAL SHOPPING

Using the Shopping Bag
Shopping at Jolie et Beau is simple and secure. When browsing through out store there are colors, sizes and customizations available on the product page. Click the “add to bag ” button and the item is automatically placed in your shopping basket. Once you have everything in your shopping bag proceed to checkout. You must register and set up an account to checkout if you do not already have one.

When you have made your choice to checkout, you will complete a a few short forms that ask for your billing, shipping and payment information. Please fill them out; complete your order and you’re done! A confirmation page will show a summary of your transaction and an email version of this summary will be promptly sent to the email address you provided at check out. You can also log in at Jolie et Beau at anytime to check the status of your order and view previous orders. All credit card transactions and confidential information are verified and protected by Authorize.Net.

Online Account Registration
Creating an online account with Jolie et Beau is fast and easy. You’re billing and shipping information is securely stored with us so you won’t need to enter it every time you place an order. You will also be able to login to your account to check the status of your orders and your order history. Your registered information will be securely stored with us, and you can add, delete, or change your information at any time using your password. Just click on the “Log in” link at the top of the page to get started.

Using the Search Link
We make it easy to find what you’re looking for! Use the search bar in the top navigation to enter a product name, item number or keyword. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for drop us an email at customerservice@joliebeau.com.

Availability
Most of our items are in stock with the exception of furniture and custom made or personalized items. Most items note their availability on its respective page. If there is an error, Jolie et Beau will notify you as quickly as possible with the email address that was provided at check out.

ORDERING INFORMATION

Orders by Phone
If you prefer to place an order offline you may email us at: customerservice@joliebeau.com. In this email you can attach your email or request that you be contacted for your order. A representative will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

Sales Tax
Jolie et Beau is required by law to charge 6% sales tax on orders shipped to and within Michigan. No sales tax will be applied to orders shipped to addresses in other states.

Canceling or Modifying Orders
We will attempt to cancel or modify any order if we are contacted immediately. We will need to be notified before processing any order, which we normally do within 24-48 hours. We cannot guarantee we will be able to cancel or modify your order, but we will make every attempt to do so.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Delivery Times
We make every effort to get your merchandise to you as soon as possible. Items that we have in stock ship within 2-3 business days. Many or our items that are custom made or ship directly from our vendors, so please be patient as delivery times for these items will vary. You can find a reasonable estimate of the delivery time specified on most product pages. It is important to note that these are estimated shipping dates only and can not be guaranteed by Jolie et Beau. Occasionally issues arise that are beyond our control that may lead to additional production time, such as our manufacturers experiencing a backup in production. If this is the case you will be informed as soon as possible.

Oversized Items and Freight Charges
Because some toys, large furniture and other items are bulky, our cost to ship them is higher. Therefore, these large items may have a delivery surcharge which is applied during checkout that is required by out vendors. Please note that although some of the larger items do appear to contain significant shipping costs, we do our best to only pass a portion of our actual shipping costs onto our customers.

Backorders
Every so often customer demand exceeds our supply. If after placing an item in your shopping bag you see a backorder notice, please be assured that more stock is expected soon. You can choose to continue with the order and pay for the item in which case we will email you to let you know the expected date of delivery, or you can use our contact us link to get the status of the item.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

How to Return or Exchange an Item
You may return your merchandise within 15 days from the date of the receipt for a refund or exchange. After 15 days, we will provide a store credit for returns. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Unless specified by Jolie et Beau, all returns should be shipped directly back to the manufacturer who shipped it to you (there should be a return address on the packaging), using the same method it was shipped (i.e., Freight etc.). All items must be returned unused and in the original packaging. If your item appears to have shipping damage, please contact us immediately upon delivery so that we may replace the damaged item and pursue a claim with the shipper. Digital or traditional pictures can also be very helpful in assisting us with the claim.

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Jolie et Beau. If you are not satisfied and would like to make a return or exchange, or if you have any questions please email us at customerservice@joliebeau.com.

How to Pack a Return or Exchange
As much as possible, retain all original packaging materials. In the event these are not available or have become damaged in transit, it is best to package the object carefully in a box that is just slightly larger then the item itself. The item should be wrapped in bubble warp, newspaper, or foam “peanuts” and no part of the item should touch the sides of the box. Also it is best to use a shipper that can insure you with a tracking number or insurance.

Special Order Items
Some items on the site are marked as “Special Order,” Custom,” or “Built to Order.” These items are non-returnable, as they are made especially for the customer.

Sale Items
Sale items are sold as-is and are final sales.

PRIVACY POLICY

We are committed to respecting your privacy and recognizing your need for appropriate protection and management of the personally identifiable information you share with us. We will not share or sell your information (period). We continually review and invest in superior technology infrastructure to encrypt and guard your information.

We may contact you from time to time regarding your order status or about products or specials that we think you may be interested in. If you do not wish to receive these notifications, we will honor your request not to send them to you.

We use return email addresses from your email correspondence to us to answer the email we receive. Such addresses from your correspondence are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
